EarthMined Gemstone Testing Laboratory – is this lab reputable?

Hello!

I received an offer to buy an emerald that has been certified by EarthMined Gemstone Testing Laboratory. There is very little information about this lab. I find it a bit strange that this lab is located in India, New Delhi, but the report has been signed by gemologists Ulah Galley and John Smith. Apparently, these two guys are not Indian. This is not to say only Indians live in India but you know what I mean…
So, are they reputable? Is this gemstone report reliable?

Regards, Emilie

I’ve seen the products sold by etsy sellers using certificates from this lab. The rough stones are dyed quartz which the sellers claim as “colour enhanced”. The cut gems look like glass. These sellers also issue certificates signed by Jane Doe.

I agree with Collector – no reputable lab will certify one of these dyed beryls as emerald.

      Hi!

I have never heard of this lab before. I don’t think they are reputable because this stone here they have identified as emerald is not an emerald actually. It’s a worthless dyed beryl.
Pretty often people are trying to sell these useless stones online for big bucks.
So, I think this sole fact tells everything about this EarthMined Gemstone Testing Laboratory.
