Dear Simon, No doubt, these plates are Kangxi. It is important to note that they are not a set. The price is absolutely ridiculous. They are worth about $300 - $400 (combined). Be careful if you decide to buy anything from this seller as he is selling many fakes, too.

Hi, Amber! It's a really beautiful, top quality item from Meiji period. No doubt, it's authentic. I think, the expert's estimate is a bit high. Personally I wouldn't bid more than 1500 on it.

Sorry, it is not. This seller is already well known among collectors for selling fakes. He is selling on eBay, too. The asking price is even higher than on Etsy. This seller uses several accounts to sell his fakes on eBay. Here is one of his accounts – https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/ama-9344/m.html
He uses exactly the same background for his images, although one seller is said to be in Norfolk, the other in Christchurch. The distance is 220 miles. In reality, this seller is from China. He pretends to be from the UK to appear more trustworthy. The harsh reality is that he is a fraudster, and this porcelain elephant has nothing to do with QianLong.

This is one of the worst-quality fakes I have seen in years. Neither decoration nor color is right. My guess is that someone tried to copy a Jiajing Emperor piece here. Did not succeed though. The seller apparently refers to the Ming to Qing Transitional Period (1620-1683). However, this bowl has noRead more

The seller apparently refers to the Ming to Qing Transitional Period (1620-1683). However, this bowl has nothing to do with that period. To cut the long story short, it is a piece of low-quality, contemporary fake. Not even close to a replica. Price? Less than 1% of the asking price. I wouldn’t pay this con artist a single penny.
